Projects

Projects that connect a business objective with tangible change.

My work includes retail concept development, store and assortment optimisation, customer experience, sales standards and people development. These examples show how different business challenges can be translated into clear, executable solutions.

Project examples

Four examples of different types of projects.

Grocery retail

Store reorganisation and assortment optimisation

A project for a grocery retailer focused on improving store layout, simplifying customer flow and strengthening the commercial performance of existing stores.

Challenge

The store layout and assortment breadth did not sufficiently reflect how customers moved through the store and made decisions. The shopping journey needed to be simplified and the available space used more effectively.

My contribution

Store and customer journey analysis, a new spatial organisation, assortment and category optimisation, and clearer presentation of key products.

Result

Following the reorganisation, the stores recorded double-digit revenue growth.

  • clearer organisation of the sales floor
  • a simpler customer journey
  • greater visibility of key categories
  • a more efficient and relevant assortment
Retail strategy

Retail strategy and format portfolio development

A project for a specialised retailer that needed to clarify the roles of its formats, development priorities and direction for future growth.

Challenge

Different formats and locations needed clearer strategic roles, shared priorities and measures of success.

My contribution

Assessment of the existing model, definition of format roles, development of a KPI framework, customer experience priorities and the direction for expansion.

Project outcome

  • clearly defined roles for different formats
  • development priorities and direction for future growth
  • a KPI framework for performance management
  • alignment of strategy, customer experience and execution
Sales standards

Sales standard for a high-frequency retail network

A project for a network with a high volume of short customer interactions and significant operational pressure.

Challenge

The company needed a simple, memorable standard that would improve the quality of short interactions and active recommendations.

My contribution

Translation of business objectives into clear behaviours, together with the development of standards, learning modules and practical scenarios.

Project outcome

  • one consistent service and sales standard
  • a simple methodology for short interactions
  • practical examples for employees
  • a shared language for employees and managers
Leadership development

Multi-year development of managers and sales teams

A programme for a retail company that needed structured development through modules, practice and time.

Challenge

Managers needed to connect business objectives, people management and daily sales performance more effectively.

My contribution

Development of a modular structure connecting leadership, sales and customer experience, built around real management situations.

Project outcome

  • a clear development journey across multiple modules
  • content linked to business priorities
  • practical tools for working with teams
  • continuous development rather than a one-off training event
Confidentiality is part of the professional relationship.

Some projects can be named, while others remain anonymised. In both cases, I present the business challenge, my contribution and the outcome without disclosing sensitive information.

I present financial results only when they are confirmed and appropriate for public use.
